Behavior of young people in relation to drugs

The psychiatrist Jairo Bouer coordinated survey of 7,520 students from 20 schools in São Paulo, between 13 and 17 years of age on sexual behavior. About 60% of 13- to 17 do not talk to their parents about sex, while about 23% have already had full sex - 15% with more than five partners. The vast majority (about 70%) have correct information about procedures for safe sex and condom use, however 61% of respondents are afraid of becoming pregnant (about 9% of girls have had sex faced a fact of pregnancy) and 44 % are afraid of contracting some disease.
